The Dragon Slayer / Legend of Heroes numeration chart
Dragon Slayer was the game that put Falcom on the map, and they've
continued that series throughout the decades . . . kind of. When
I refer to "Dragon Slayer", I'm not talking about the Turbo Duo game
that you've hopefully played. That's Dragon Slayer 6, which is also
known as the first Legend of Heroes.
The Legend of Heroes series (known in Japan as Eiyuu Densetsu) is
actually a series of six games, separated into three story arcs. Oddly
enough, the entire Legend of Heroes series is a spin-off of the Dragon
Slayer series, and the Kiseki series is a spin-off from Legend of
Heroes. Moreover, as they've been released in the US, each Legend of
Heroes game tends to be re-numbered.
It's all very confusing, which is why I've created this chart.

Let’s also not forget that now Sora no Kiseki has its own sort of spinoff in Zero no Kiseki…. *insert mind being melted*
